Library Media Center

The AES Library Media Center (LMC) is an exciting spacious environment for our students and faculty. The LMC is a center of learning activities for whole class, small group, and individual students.

Our library media center (LMC) operates on a part fixed/part flex schedule. Each class visits the LMC once per week. During this time, students receive instruction on various topics and skills. They may check out books during this time as well. We also have flex /open access time in our schedule allowing time for book checkout, research, and collaboration.

Our students and teachers have access to a collection of books, magazines, audiovisual materials, and equipment. Our LMC is equipped with a LCD TV, Blu-Ray player, surround sound system, and wireless technologies which allow for mulit-media presentations. Students have access to both computers and ipads for use in the library. Teachers have access to four mobile technology carts for classroom use. These include an Ipad cart and three ChromeBook carts.

Both teacher and student requests for materials are taken and filled whenever possible. The LMC encourages a life-long love of reading and web responsibility to all patrons.
